We had a decomposing animal in the crawlspace under house. Called Critter Control and got quick response. The smelling dead animal was cleaned out and the space was sanitized in the same day. This is the second time I?ve had to call Critter Control to get rid of an opossum. The first time, many years ago, the opossum had gotten into my laundry room through the dryer vent. This time, the opossum decided to live under the cover of my grill?thankfully outdoors and not in the house! Critter Control had put out a humane trap within a day of me contacting them. In less than 24 hours, the opossum had been caught and taken away to be released in the wild. Everyone at Critter Control has been extremely helpful and professional. While I hope to never need their services again, it?s good to know I can always count on them.
These guys did an excellent job sealing every hole around my house. I had a great experience starting with the inspection all the way to them sealing the holes and leaving a trap for the squirrels. I?ve had a problem for a while now. Definitely will be using these guys in the future.. thank you!!
We had used multiple companies in the past to eradicate the squirrels in our attic. They all failed until we called Critter Control. It has been years now since we had any furry visitors.
After the squirrels, we had rats in the attic, and Critter Control eliminated that pest as well. We now use their service (rats and bugs) on a bi-monthly basis.

Michael M. did a great job on sealing up my house so animals cannot get back into my attic. He left a small one-way escape cage at the spot of the ?incursion? so that if there are any left in the attic, they can get out. He will remove the cage in 5 days or so and then completely seal that area as well. He was thorough and professional. I recommend Critter Control.

Well I found snakes underneath my house. Riely came out that very day inspected the house and we scheduled a skirting with mesh wire all the way around the house the very next day! The workers came in and skirted the house leaving no way for anything to get in ever again. I was so happy and I loved working with these people.

All of the men with Critter Control who came out to inspect the house, and patch up holes where rats might be coming in, and set traps and bait stations were very friendly. I had been hearing the rats coming into the attic and going out every day for months. It was driving me crazy. Today for the first time, I woke up to no more sounds in the attic. This alone has been such a relief. I?m still having to pay a monthly fee to have them come out, but I think it should be worth it at least until we know that the rats are NOT coming back! It was quite expensive, but hopefully I won?t be having this problem again. There were some issues in scheduling, and following their planned schedule, but other than that, they were all very professional and knowledgeable.

We contracted Critter Control to evict raccoons living in the space between the two floors of the house. They found how they were getting in, sealed it and installed a one way ramp for them to get out. They also sealed all other potential points of entry. They guarantee there work and I think we are FINALLY raccoon free. Highly recommended if you have unwanted house guests of the critter type.
Since they closed all the possible entry ways into our house, no more roof rats (UGH!!!!) in our attic. Outside dog/kid proof bait stations are lowering the population of would be intruders. Ashley calls to let me know when she?s coming to check the bait stations and has noted when a lot of the bait was gone.

I have roof rats. I've had four companies come out to look at my home. Everyone did some level of "service" if you can even call it that. No one took the time to assess the entry points on my home to the level of specificity of Roger. I'd already paid a company for exclusion services. I was feeling ripped off because after that I spotted a rat in my home. I could not figure out HOW a rat was getting in here and figured it was trapped inside. NOPE. They didn't do the work that needed to be done. Roger came out, walked every inch of my outside space and found spots you could put your HAND through in my home. Openings leading straight to my attic where they love to nest. I cannot wait to start my REAL exclusion work. What they do and what other companies offer you is unmatched.

These guys are awesome! One morning I saw a snake peep its head out of a weep hole near my front door as I was leaving for the day. Obviously I lost my mind and instantly started googling to make sense of what I saw. I didn?t even know what a weep hole was at that point and that apparently it?s extremely common for snakes to make their way into them and into your walls.. ?great? I thought. It wasn?t until that moment that I realized I was terrified of snakes so of course I needed him OUT! I message Critter Control on their website and Roger called me within the hour. He offered knowledge, understanding and managed to bring me back to reality because needless to say I was freaking out. Roger met me at my house within the hour and did a full review of my property, looking out for everything.. not just snakes. He explained everything so that it was easy to understand and provided me with advice should any other pest issues come up in the future. The customer service Roger exhibited was truly outstanding. I even had to stop and ask him if this was his company because he was treating me more kindly than I had ever been treated by a home service provider. Even cleaned off my shoes for me when I accidentally stepped in an ant pile. Roger came up with a game plan for our snake friend and another tech, Jamie, came out to the house 2 days later to set the trap and fill my weep holes. During those 2 days Roger was available to answer any of my questions and reassure me because as you can imagine ?calm? is not a feeling you have when there?s a snake living in your wall. Jamie came out on Saturday and was nothing short of professional also. He filled the holes with mesh and set 3 sticky traps so we could catch the snake on his way in or out. Within hours the snake was caught inside of the trap! We left the traps out for 2 more days to make sure there wasn?t any more living inside the wall. On Monday Jamie came back out to the house to remove the traps (and snake) and finish filling the holes. Needless to say Roger and Jamie have definitely earned a customer for life! If you need any kind of ?critter? treatment I would definitely give these guys a call!
I used Critter Control the fall of 2019 for preventive maintenance. There were quite a few posts on my community Facebook page about roof rats and I got the heebie-jeebies. Had a raccoon get into our attic and happened to come across an ad for Critter Control and decide to give them a call. Mark Miller was sent to us for the inspection and estimate of the work needed. Mark was very knowledge and was very detailed on the work that needed to be done and why. A team was scheduled to be sent out in less than a week and a half. Guadalupe, Yeyser, and team BAT arrived at our home early in the morning. They hit the ground running from start to finish. They kept me updated on each step of the process. I didn't believe it when they said it was going to be in one day but they made it happen. That was all the required work plus clean up inside and outside of the house. I am 100% satisfied with the work the team did. If anyone has any issues that Critrer Control can deal with don't hesitate to contact them. You will not be disappointed!! We moved into a house last June in the Northwest part of town. What we did not know at the time was there were very large empty nests at both ends of the attic (at least 3 feet in length - perhaps more). It was not mentioned in any reports. We proceeded to make updates to the house including totally remodeling the kitchen. In March, I started to hear what I thought to be baby birds chirping above me through the vent in the ceiling just beside and above the range. It definitely unnerved me as I could just imagine feathers falling into cooking food. Additionally, we started to notice birds flying in and out of a vent opening into the attic near the gutter. I went on line to research who might be able to examine and treat the situation and came across Critter Control. Every review I came across on multiple sites praised the expertise of this company in handling critter control as well as their professionalism. They came and inspected the attic as well as the perimeter of the house and garage. They stressed humane treatment of animals (with perhaps the exception of rats). When they were near the completion of their inspection, they asked me to come up into the attic to show me what they had found and that is when I was shown not only the extremely large nests on both ends of the attic (they had obviously been there for some years), but I was also shown rat trails clearly burrowing all through the insulation throughout the attic (much like a maze), excrement and pheromone oils. Critter Control uses a multi-step process to handle any situation. First, is humane animal removal, then they identify points of entry and seal those points with animal proof materials. They also identify potential entry points and re-enforce those areas. This is followed by a 3 step decontamination process (which takes all day) and includes removal of contaminated insulation, fecal matter and other debris. They decontaminate the area with hospital grade sanitizers to treat potential diseases such as vaccinia, hantavirus, histoplasmosis and avian influenza, followed by re-installation of 15% boric acid treated cellulose insulation. Animal damage to electrical wires and flexi-duct is also repaired. They leave baited traps and come back 3 more times across 3-4 weeks to see if traps have caught any animals. Every single appointment was re-confirmed, and personnel arrived on time and were always professional. All personnel are employees and NOT subcontractors. They are bonded and insured. A 5 star experience the whole way around!!!!!

Some rat infested attic and how he vacuumed their attic because rat piss could kill my family & kids could die breathing rat feces I gave him cold bottle water he asked to use my kitchen sink cause his arms were smeared with white insulation . I went up there after he left the AC duct was shredded with dead squirrel in the middle and he sprinkled rat turds through the white insulation I never saw before it smelled dirty up there he told me I needed to pay$7,500.00 to hire him & his crew to vacuum my attic .

I interviewed numerous Pest Control companies and Critter Control was by far the best company. The salesman, Mark, explained the products and technique that would be used to seal my home in great detail. Once I signed the contract he set up the appt for installation and also helped me apply for a 12 month interest free loan. A few days later the crew leader, Lupe, and his 8 man crew arrived and within 4 hours had my house completely sealed. The workers were extremely neat and efficient. For the next 3 weeks, Manuel, came out to check all the traps that were set in my attic.He answered any questions I had and was very reassuring that I would no longer have any issues with wildlife in my attic. Every employee that I have had contact with has been extremely polite, personable and professional. Critter Control did an outstanding job and I highly recommend them!

Critter control of Houston is the way to go. I called because I thought I had bats in my attic: Craig came over and at NO charge (usually national popular company charge between $101 to $150 for a inspection non-refundable even if you decide to hire their services) spent over two hours doing inspection and going into meticulous details of what it needed to be done to remove not only Bats but a pretty good size of colony of rats as well. Once I agree upon the contract few days later at 8 AM the "Bat Team" lead by Guadalupe came over for 12 hours. They spent exactly 10 hours working on my house fixing things on the roof putting mashes blocking any entrance getting rid of the rats with industrial vacuum cleaner replacing my entire insulation putting graded a hospital sanitation to get rid of everything alive in my attic (they actually found a lickage in my hot water heater that was repair few days later by my plummer). The Bat Team is extremely dedicated to their job which I call art because the professionalism, kindness, and quality. If you are trying to save few $$$ by hiring anyone else you are doing a disservice to your house. Critter Control gets around 970 calls a year for Bats, Rats and Racoons removal. A company that has been in business for 20 yrs does not need to brag much other than being the leader in the industry and not the follower.
One more thing: if your house (and Im positive you do) has a 1/4 of an inch opening ANYWHERE, it is most likely that you have a colony of bats. Call Critter Control if you smell feces in your attic, they'll conduct a FREE inspection. I also got a 5% discount for signing up to Angiel List and by signing up for a lifetime warranty on the job I got 3 free bugs control bi-monthly treatment. A Co. that gives a Lifetime Warranty to me speaks mountains.

I recently bought an older home in March of 2016 and knew that I had some work that needed to be done in the attic. The insulation needed to be replaced and there was evidence that I had half of the species of animals that live within The Woodlands area in my attic as some point over the past 30 years. I was referred to Critter Control by my parents who also live within The Woodlands area and who had recently used rodent control companies with no success. I could just end my review with the fact that if their work impressed my parents and received their seal approval then there quality of workmanship will meet expectations. However this review wouldn?t speak to my full experience.
I went into and reviewed the attic with Critter Control and ask questions related to the scope of work they were going to execute and what items were included and which ones were extras. They explained the whole process in detail and answered any questions I had. They even took out my ducting as requested to ensure everything went out in the vacuum bags. Their QC guy , Mr. M followup as scheduled and no problems were discovered. I also appreciated the fact that my whole scope of work was under a lifetime warranty. I liked that there office always called 24hrs in advance to confirm my appointment and Mr. M would call when he was 30 mins out. That helped remind me of the appointment and schedule my day.
Even with a warranty question as recent as June, Critter Control made a rapid response to investigate the issue. NO - I didn?t have returning vermon. It was something I had discovered during a repair to my A/C refrigerant line in the attic. Mr. M from their quality department responded as planned and resolved the issue.
Finally even with a discrepancy with estimating the scope of work, they took quick action and resolved the issued both professionally and ethically without issue. I have a service manager Mr. N to thank for that.
Woke up on a Saturday morning at 5:00 a.m. when a mama raccoon and her babies fell through our master bathroom ceiling! Called a couple of other companies that were supposed to open at 7:00. One never returned our call; the other finally called us back Monday afternoon. When something like this occurs, you just can't wait! We called Critter Control at 7:50 a.m. and Kimberly promptly returned our call at 8:00 when they opened. Had their representative Craig out to our house by 9:30. He removed the raccoons then explained the procedure we needed to implement in order to decontaminate our attic, as the raccoon waste is highly toxic. We scheduled for the first available day, the following Tuesday, and Mark and his crew timely arrived and went to work. After removal of the contaminated insulation, they performed all remediation work and repairs, with the exception of damage to our carpet and wallpaper, which will be handled through the insurance claim. We had air duct damage, damage to the A/C copper line, and of course, sheetrock damage. The crew sealed the entire house and replaced all soffit vents and repaired fascia board. All work was done in one day with the exception of the drywall and paint, which was completed the following morning.
This company has experienced and professional employees who were eager to work (even in 100+ degree temps!) and they did a fantastic job, all the way down to the clean up. The 3-year guarantee we got gives us peace of mind, and the insurance company loves it!

I would recommend both Mr. Lira and this company for their knowledge of different critters who enjoy living in attics; their care for both moving the animals safely; and advice on how to keep other smaller critters (mice or rats, squirrels, etc) away. I appreciated the information. The office staff was polite and cooperative in my requests. The team they sent to replace the insulation were well trained, neat, thorough and cleaned up well afterward. The team and Mr Lira were pleasant and respectful throughout the time of service.. I would rate our experience with them as a five star company in every respect.
A large colony of rats took over our attic. After contacting several companies, we decided on Critter Control. We were very pleased with the responsiveness and thoroughness of Critter Control. A family of raccoons took up residence in my attic. They caused a considerable amount of damage, including tearing my air conditioner ducts apart, so I had no air in July. Critter Control came out promptly on the same day I called and repaired and remediated the damage the next day. They fixed everything in a competent and efficient manor and made sure no pests would get in again. Derrick was the very professional crew leader on the job. Manuel did the follow-up inspections. All the Critter Control staff I came into contact with were great.
Amazing company, could not have asked for a more professional customer friendly company. They listened and understood our concerns and solved our rodent problem completely. Whats more they are coming out yearly to re-inspect for free and ensure we never have a problem again. Previously to using Critter control I have had this rodent problem come back time and time again, I tried companies that threw poison in my attic and tell me the rats would leave to die and when they didn't leave but instead died in my home causing a horrendous stench they refused to come out saying its not their problem. Others charged hundreds of dollars to trap and seal the opening's but that did not solve anything. Critter Control have done everything they promised and more, I am over joyed with the result.

I have had problems in my attic for years, thinking it was squirrels or raccoons or worse. Critter Control came out and photo'd the entire attic, showing me where duct work had been tracked by rodents and other critters, also insulation matted with unsanitary conditions. The crew was professional, timely, cleaned out the entire attic and replaced insulation. They covered all possible entry points and sealed off my entire attic. Their customer service following the work has been superb. All my questions have been addressed politely and answered professionally. The only downside for me is the cost. If you can afford it, it is worth it. But I have had buyer's remorse and realize I might have been way too impulsive. This is only for people with means.

Our chimney was in disrepair, allowing squirrels to get into our ceiling/flooring (between floors). The inspector promptly went to the attic and explained that we had a bad rodent infestation. We opted to purchase their (pricey) lifetime home protection plan in September 2014. They have been very responsive to aid us with interim pest prevention and advice as we scheduled repair work for our home.

Extremely professional from beginning to end. Excellent communications, letting me know when they would arrive, calling the morning of the appt to let me know they were on their way. Followup appointments always as promised. A vent cover was broken while the crew were caullking and sealing the house and, as promised, they sourced a replacement and came out and fixed it. I highly recommend this company for rodent remediation and attic clean-up, any needed repairs, and re-insulation.

We live in a 1920's house and have had problems with animals in our walls and attic for 20 years. We called multiple services in the past nothing worked. When we talked to Critter Control they explained that they had a service with a guarantee for life time of the house. Yeah, right. They came out but their process made so much sense that we went for it. They showed up with trucks, men, vacuums and everything they needed to close every entry point, removed all insulation and animals from the house and added new insulation and etc. During this process the men were neat, on time, polite and professional. They left the house cleaner than they found it. Since then they have checked the house to make sure that nothing is getting in, weekly. Excellent customer service. We back up to the Brazos River and constantly had animals getting in the house. We tried trapping them ourselves (caught 10 raccoons, and 1 opossum in 10 days), then had animal control remove the captured animals. No matter how many we caught more would come. Critter Control was able to not only remove the animals but effectively locked them out of our home by blocking all access points. Lifetime guarantee is a huge selling point. I'm sure we'll be calling them again when/if the critters make it past their defenses.

Critter Control of Houston does my pest control services. I called them because of a problem with ants that I couldn't get rid of. Within 2 visits the ants were gone! The customer service I receive is awesome and refreshing. I highly recommend this company to all my friends and anyone I meet that has need for this type of service.
I had two feral cats in a field behind my house: a mother and her female kitten. After some time, the female was pregnant again and I knew I had to do something to prevent a colony of cats from developing behind my house. I was able to lure the cats into my garage one night and had no idea what to do next, so I called Critter Control. I told Critter Control that I wanted to spay these cats and release them back to the wild. They told me that would be fine, just to let them know when they can come pick up their traps. So they came, set the humane traps with food, and reassured me that within 24 hours, the cats would be trapped. The next morning, like clockwork, each cat was in its separate cage. I took them to get spayed (there were 2 fetuses in the mother), let them rest for a few days and released them, then called Critter Control to pick the cages up. I have confidence that for any type of critter problem I might experience, Critter Control can help me solve it. They also went the extra mile by allowing me to keep their cages for a week in order to help these animals - and prevent more unwanted cats in the world!!

Had a great experience. They removed birds that were caught in the vent systems above my microwave. In addition to the removal service they sprayed for the flies that had began to populate due to the birds.
Having this problem is not pretty, the birds are caught and it takes a specialist to remove them without tearing up the venting system. Also, when they die HUGE flies will come from the ducts, in which after having them come out they removed them at not extra cost!
I have been a customer of Critter Control for at least 5 years. They have removed Rodents, sealed up my House and Garage to prevent any additional invasions. Successfully I might add. Also periodic pest control spraying and even a Mosquito system that unbelievably actually works.. My overall experience has been great. We?ve known about raccoons on one of our roofs for several years. One of them finally managed to actually get in the attic one Friday evening and after hearing it walking around a bit, we finally saw it hiding in a far corner. As we?d used Critter Control a few years ago for a similar situation, we called them the next morning (a Saturday) and actually got a real, live employee, not an answering service or machine. That was our first surprise. The tech was out first thing Monday morning and advised that they could trap the raccoons but they?d continue coming back until we got rid of the roof rat problem of which we were totally unaware. That was our second surprise and we were stunned! We never heard noises in the attic indicating small animals, just the noises when the raccoons got in although there had been odd noises in the attics off and on ever since we bought the house five years ago which we attributed to ?settling?. Long story short, a very professional crew of about 10 guys came out the next Saturday to completely clean up and sanitize our attics, replace all the old insulation with new insulation containing a boric acid compound to discourage further infestation of roof rats, roaches, silverfish and other critters. They found some electrical wires that the rats had gnawed and those were repaired within a couple of hours by a licensed electrician. Once the insulation was replaced, all possible access points (dryer vent, exhaust fan vents, roof vents, etc?) were then covered/secured to prevent future intrusions by rats or raccoons. The crew was happy to answer any questions we had during the process (it took about 11 hours from arrival to departure) and each step was explained in detail as they started it. We learned a lot from them and it helped tremendously in understanding the need for such a lengthy operation.
Throughout the entire process beginning with our initial call, we were kept totally informed at all times with regard to appointment dates, times, arrival times of staff/crew, etc? We were always treated as valuable customers. This is a very professional company and their knowledgeable staff and crew seem to enjoy their work. It made what was a fairly stressful situation seem much more manageable and easier to deal with. And yes, it was expensive, but the quality of the work, friendly and courteous attitude of staff and their overall totally professional approach to everything made it worth it to us.
